Atom has no MCP client. There is no server registry, no MCP tool source, and no MCP configuration key.

What to use instead

Outside information: webfetch retrieves pages as markdown and websearch discovers them, both built in and auto-approved. See Tools.

If MCP support lands, this page will document the real config keys and discovery flow. Until then, do not set MCP related env vars: none exist.
